Sprays and Sheaves FAQs

Sprays: Funeral sprays are floral arrangements that are designed to lie flat and rest on a surface, such as a casket or a memorial table. They are typically elongated in shape and can vary in size from smaller tributes to larger and more elaborate displays.

Sheaves: Funeral sheaves, also known as tied sheaves, are arrangements that feature flowers and greenery bound together and tapered at one end. These arrangements are traditionally designed to be easy to carry, making them suitable for funeral attendees to hold during a service or to lay on a casket or grave.

Traditional choices include white lilies, roses, chrysanthemums, and carnations – these symbolise love, sympathy, and respect. But it’s really up to you, you can work with the florist to choose flowers that reflect the person who’s died or the style of funeral.
